As the year comes to a close and we look forward to 2017, we want to share with you some highlights of the past year and what your investment helped make possible.
We wish you a happy holiday and the very best for 2017.
- Over 550 Holiday Bags of good cheer were distributed to clients filled with personal care products and other gifts generously donated from Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, McGregor Socks, Starbucks, Trifuno Retail solutions, and other community supporters
- The Essentials Market provided over 12,000 distinct services to 1,122 individuals
- 3066 meals were provided to 29 PHA’s through the Food for Life meal delivery program
- 1,029 clients were able to access the financial assistance program
- 225 holiday gift certificates were given to families with children living with or affected by HIV/AIDS to assist them in purchasing gifts and holiday expenses for their children.
- 700 appointments and consultations.
- Enhanced availability to clients for massages through greater engagement with more massage schools and individual practitioners
- 2250 sessions were provided through the community PHA Naturopathic clinic
- 815 people heard PWA’s PHA Peer outreach volunteers tell their stories
- 58,400 volunteer hours supported PWA’s programs and activities
