Desde 1987, PWA ha venido ayudando a hombres, hombres trans, mujeres trans, mujeres, niñas y niños viviendo con VIH/SIDA. Nuestra respuesta ha sido inspirada por las voces y experiencias de las personas viviendo con VIH/SIDA.
La Fundación Toronto People With AIDS ofrece un espacio acogedor para conectar con otras personas, tener acceso a servicios de apoyo práctico y recibir ayuda para navegar el sistema requerido de cuidados necesarios, el cual a veces puede ser complejo.

HIV and disclosure: How the Supreme Court of Canada got it wrong
On Oct. 5, the Supreme Court of Canada released its decisions in two cases dealing with the tricky issues of criminal liability for HIV nondisclosure. The court ruled that people living with HIV have a legal duty to tell their sexual partners about their HIV infection except in a narrow set of circumstances - where the risk that HIV would be transmitted approaches zero...

Health Survey
PWA is conducting a survey of people living with HIV/AIDS in Toronto to determine what we can do to make HIV health and treatment information more accessible. We would appreciate your time in participating in this survey, as your feedback is important to us and helps us to improve the availability of treatment information to people living with HIV/AIDS. This survey should only take 10-15 minutes of your time and is completely anonymous. If you need help completing the survey or have questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Jennifer Grochocinski, Treatment Resources Coordinator at 416-506-1400 x237 or jgrochocinski@pwatoronto.org.
