Financial burdens, social stigmas and health problems make it difficult for men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS to access the resources they need to live independently. The Toronto People With AIDS Foundation provides a large variety of services to people living with HIV/AIDS in the Toronto area. These programs are aimed at making life a little easier for PHAs, for little or no cost.

PWA Income Tax Clinic

PWA offers assistance with paper-based personal income tax returns for HIV+ people living in the GTA.
The focus of the clinic is assisting PWA clients with accessing their Trillium benefits.

PWA's Income Tax Clinic compliments ACT's Income Tax Clinic and offers service to more clients than those defined by CRA's Volunteer Income Tax Program.
At this time, we are unable to assist with: business income tax returns, complex stock & income tax investments, bankruptcies,
or final return for deceased individuals.
